Daniel Molloy is entertaining himself in the reading room while Louis is feasting on Rashid. He reads aloud last words of victims before they were to be killed from Claudia's diary. He doesn't seem amused at all and he damn well makes his opinion known. Rashid calls him a hypocrite, in his own delicate words. How is his work any different? I mean, he is literally writing an interview with the vampire! Also, when this books gets published, how TF do you think it will bode well for other vampires around the world? Rashid says that he will be practically sentencing them to death should he go through with it. Then he takes his dramatic leave. 

Louis is unphased on both sides. He seems more focused on reading Daniel's mind when he was wondering how Rashid's blood tasted like. Daniel be like "BOI WTF!?"

 Anyway, getting back to the main vein here, pun not intended, Daniel resumed back to his book. Fact checking, actually. While browsing on his laptop he voices his observance that he is unable to fact check mortality data for the year 1923 to confirm any of the deaths from victims of the vampires that were claimed in the diary. Color him conveniently confuzzled. Louis simply replies back that New Orleans was pretty grim as fuck and besides, many of those victims were burned thus unable to be confirmed death by the state of Louisiana. For all they knew, they fucked off into another country. Could be any reason fofo rthat matter.

With that conversation swiftly out of the way, Danel Molloy resumes his recording session as he states that this is currently #5. 

Back to the 1900s

Concerning Claudia, after the death of Charlie ushered in a very dark era. Clearly distraught, she went on a hunger strike. That's what Louis concluded when he would see birds in her room. He honestly been seeing much of her lately and it is to the point where he is starting to get gravely concerned for her well being as he suspects that she is starving herself to death. Lestat is calmly at the piano and like expected, he is skeptical that it's a hunger strike. He is quick to theorize that she just picks a sliver of time to slip out of the house to feed undetected.

Nahhhh bruh Louis wants to put the guilt trip blaming Lestat for Claudia's distance and disdain. This triggers him so he goes marching up to Claudia's room to reveal that she is not even in her coffin. But oop....upon opening her coffin he spots 2 of her diaries in which he doesn't hesitate to pick up and reach, much to Louis' unapproval. However, he randomly reads aloud a very TMI snippet and yeets it in disgust and walks back out.

Claudia? Where is Claudia? Yup, she was definitely getting her feast on a poor elderly man whom his last words were asking what day it was as he thought his death would have been in the summer and he flops to his death. 

Upon returning home, she gets her shit rocked when upon opening her coffin, Lestat scared the ever living daylights out of here as he laid there. She yelps and runs out of her room only to be cornered by Louis. She slowly retracts to her room while Louis finally talking to her like a real parent. Lestat holds up her diary and she tearfully realizes that they read IT ALL!!!

Nope, both do not look pleased at all.

The first reaction was Louis' concern with just how many kills she has made these past couple of months. This is no light matter at all because at the rate she was making these abundant kills, puts them all at risk not only to humans but vampires as well. While Louis acknowledge to reading the flower diary, Lestat butts in and says he read ALL of her diaries. Secondary complaint was that in her diary she was talking to some shit about not just him but Louis as well, as much as she obviously favored him before.

Claudia claims she buried all the bodies in the town of  Chalmette and tells them to GTFO of her room. Rather to calming them down, this new information seems to alarm them even more as Louis says that Chalmette is actually below sea level...or rather river line if you want to be more accurate about it which means fuck all when a storm will inevitably come in and make all those bodies wash ashore. No bueno!!!!!!

Inevitable it sure was. 

A storm happened and just like Louis said, bodies were easily discovered by city folk. Fuckity fuck fuck FUCK!

A hop, skip and a jump later Louis and Lestat are in this super secret but upper class saloon meeting with Mr. Anderson. He was trying to prime them up in an effort to support his political campaign with a caveat perhaps? The bodies with Claudia's killing spree pops up in conversation as he says that many of the bodies found are the reason why there is a higher police presence. In fact, he even gives them a heads up that police are search houses in their vicinity as they speak. So don't be surprised if they come knocking on their door...

They both hastily rush home while trying to be casual but holy shit police are actually already in their home!! Trying to play it cool Lestat is asking WTF is going on here. The police officer says that their daughter, Claudia let them in. By just a glimpse of Claudia, she is giggly to all hell. Yeah yo girl is drunk off her butt and she slurs and stammers up the stairs.

Police officer takes verbal note to this but this is the least of his problems. He also makes it known that there are a handful of other police on the premises in order to do a more quick and efficient search for potential bodies in the area. 

Upon walking outside, one of the officers spots the incinerator in which Louis had to quick wittedly reply that they are "salesman" and just some other excuse for their possession of it to not raise suspicious. Lestat with his charisma does most of the talking.

Meanwhile, Claudia knowing she is in total deep shit, scrambles around her room trying to hide all the random body parts laying around her room like a psycho. A finger here, a torso there. Girl be drunk but hastily trying to get her shit together. Doesn't help that flies are even accumulating. One officer attempts to enter her room but she made a genius quick decision to make it look like she is getting dress changed in which he quickly retracts out of there.

Despite the attempt to calm the storm, the officer on his way out the door makes it down that their house doesn't pass his vibe check. Buuut you can't arrest anyone on a bad vibe check so at best he can do is make some thinly veiled threats. Louis and Lestat just have their poke faces on as the last police officer takes their leave.

Did we not forget that there is a whole ass body in Claudia's closet? They both took turns yelling at her for a multitude of already known reasons. The freshly dead body was a main one. That was why Claudia was drunk because the man was drinking heavily before she killed him. 

This quickly takes a steer in another direction when Lestat says that bringing Claudia really dampened their relationship but naw Louis disagrees and says there were obvious problems before she came into their lives. 

Claudia then perks up now that they mention relationships in when she asks who will actually be her companion? That is all that is paraded in front of her afterall. She has hit a bit of a crisis since she is forever stuck in a teenaged girl's body but she still yearns for love like what they two have for each other. Surely not humans since they will be the only ones to grow old. However, she can't date humans her "age" since mentally she is like 20-30 years old at this point which is just as icky. That's the crisis she is in but the more she is talking, she is riling herself up that the more that she will age, it will never show on a physical level so how the hell are they going to fix her?! 

Lestat then spots her arm and with her implications, she confesses that she has tried many times to turn a hefty handful of males her "age" to a vampire. There are so many bite marks on her arm which raises the alarms on both of them yet again. She was just dropping random potential's she tried but obviously all failed. This leaves her to say that if they won't help her find a companion then she will run away to find them on her own. Lestat is so unphased. In not so nice words, he says that not only will other vampires be hard to find but she is too weak and they will tear her to pieces.

Louis breaks his silence and tells him to STFU. Claudia is just even more angry as she can't stand that Louis allows Lestat to be such an asshole. She says and I quote:

"And you, cruel as the devil ever made, to refuse me one love when you've got two."

HOLD THE FUCK UP!!!!

Ooooh weee the look on his face knows that he is busted and totally did not see that coming. You know, since he cannot read her mind so no way he knew she knew. I don't think even Louis wants to read her mind as much as he is more respectful big brother type. Yeeeess. Claudia says that Lestat is not as discreet as we are lead to believe. While doen in Algiers, she pinpointed a woman that he was seen romancing with. Now with a smug look on her face, she takes her leave so these two lovebirds can hash things out. Or die trying.

He doesn't beat around the bush and he admits that it is true. Before he can even finish, Louis already figures it was Antoinette, that lounge singer. He assures his lover that he will kill Antoinette in due time. Sure, buddy. Louis just walks away in disappointment. 

He heads on to Claudia's room but holy shit, she really does mean business. She is actively packing her shit as we speak. As much as he tried to convince her
