Episode 2 "The Kindness of Strangers"

Resuming to where Boyd is at. The chained man reminded him that he had a deal and now has to kill him.

"I always thought the town was the worst part until I went through the tree. Did you go through the tree? Funny thing about that tree, sometimes you get stuck and that is where they get ya." Says Martin, the chained man.

Fuuuuck.

He recognizes a Marine tattoo on his arm which strengthens him even more to get him out of these chains. It's obvious he has been there for a VERY long time. He has bloodied wrists and other decayed bodies on other walls.

Back at the diner, Donna, Kenny and another yet unnamed man from Colony are the strongmen with guns cor crowd control. Since they couldn't be talked to calmly and rationally, they have to resort to the very reason why protocol was set in place to begin with. Now that they're here, they have to listen.

Tabitha enters Victor's alt space in the woods. Like a secondary hideout or something? It an abandoned storage unit he He stresses that there is no talisman to protect them so they have to be quiet to not draw attention to themselves. So what does Tabitha do? Asking 20 fucking questions.

Over at the diner, Kristie having some alone time with her fiance. Now, we get a glimpse on how long time has passed for her since she disappeared. 6 months. Her fiance is big mad. She shares the mental torment her and her parents went through for her to just up and leave. Maybe her dumb ass should be in the front so Donna can give her the 411.

At the dilapidated house, Jim and Bartender Tom have a small chat until the guy from the bus comes conscious and starts freaking the fuck out. The guys try to calm him down from not only bringing attention to the monsters but to stop moving so that the remnants won't topple over them.

While Boyd is trying to use the talisman to break the chains, a ballerina box starts playing signifying that "They are coming."

Kenny talks down an exhausted Julie who he keeps trying to keep from peeking out the window.

Donna taking a watch over the people and she takes note of 3 guys who look like they are up to no good. She's right because Mr. Puked On (his name is Randall) decides he's had enough and holds Kenny at gunpoint and threatens to opens the doors. Luckily it gets thwarted when Kenny eventually swipes the gun back from him. Failed mutiny. Heh dumbass.

Meanwhile Ellis has to hold Fatima back and she tries to get the scattered people inside. She desperately wants to help and keeps banging against the window as the monsters are approaching a few of the people outside. So they barracaded themselves inside the police station.

After Boyd is able to knock down one chain, this is when Martin swipes at him and says "My blood is your blood." and collapses to his death. So Boyd grabs a tiki torch reaches the upside which has now transformed into a dilapidated stone of its former self. He goes walking down the forest trying his best to evade the monsters that have come out of their slumber spot and entering the town as we speak. He spotted a dog barking?? Wut.

A young couple take refuge of their own at the bar. They were just chatting away until they hear a knock at the door claiming to be one of the bus passengers. Motherfucker opens the door.

The monster with the cartoonish smile (whom I will dub Mr. Smiley) walks on by the diner and even gets on the bus. Turns out there there are passengers still aboard. He just wants to say hello.

Victor has small chit chat with Tabitha but he does get tight lipped about certain questions she has about him but gets interrupted with a brooding bang. It's BOYD!!!!! He was trying to follow the dog and got lost in the process and came across Victor's storage unit. But wait, there's someone else, one of the passengers from the bus, Elgin, comes almost immediately after.

Boys pulls a gun on him because literally Victor, Tabitha and Boyd are out of the loop about the bus arriving to scary town so they are like DAFUQ is this dude?!?!?

Under the house, the dude is starting to bleed pretty badly. Well fatally because he's succumbed to his injuries. But to the shock and horror, a monster managed to get inside and attack that poor bartender!!!!!!! Jim has no choice but to keep his mouth silent as his friend is being mutilated.

Oh yeah and I almost forgot, Victor's peeps are now A-OK because Boyd has the talisman now to protect the group. Victor shows him his latest artwork. Picasso, eat your heart out. As he hangs it on the wall he sees the sun coming up so they get ready to head back into town.

Over at the diner, the jukebox turns on, signalling it is now safe. Julie runs over to the house where she finds her dad still alive.

Bus driver lady gets back on the bus and makes her own discovery.

Victor and peeps make their way back to the town and Boyd sees the weird worm like movement that was previously on Martin is now on him via the scratch. Dammit noooooo.
