Erased S1E11
Previously on Erased
Now: Episode 11
They all arrived to their destination. Satoru and the young girl are seen getting off. The driver, whom is Mr. Yashiro in disguise is seen getting a cellphone out of a bag in the van. Satoru's mom sees him and wonders WTF he is??
The little girl has to gather up with the rest of the littles as they go over some 411s and other safety precautions. Unbeknownst to her, Yashiro passes right behind her and drops something in the opening of her backpack. No one knew. Yashiro puts on his murder gloves and heads to an unknown cabin further in the woods and arranges his trademark water and sleeping pills on the table as he is getting ready...
Sachiko is looking a bit discombobulated while she is doing food prep. Satoru and Kumi approach her and ask if she is going okay. She says that she swore that she saw Mr. Yashiro as being one of the volunteers but she immediately backtracks and changes the subject.
The all sit down to eat. Kum goes to fetch her canteen from his backpack and catches notices of the dropped cell phone in his backpack.
After they are all done eating, they start their stamp collecting rally event. Something with looking for clues and race against other teams sort of thing. Kumi and Satoru arrive at a pair of canoes and a stamp station to get their first stamp along with the riddle to proceed further.
Both of them reach their next destination which just so happens to be over a rope bridge. Oof, must've been nerveracking to cross on the wobbly ass bridge. Well, they eventually end up finishing but instead of being 1st, Satoru's slow ass made them finish in 12th place.
Both meet back up with Satoru's mom who can't seem to find her phone (I wonder WHY!?) so she asks to borrow his watch.
Satoru finds time to be alone and uses this to call Kenya who is actually there at the park unbeknownst to everyone else. Looks like they have a plan of their own. I guess they believe that he will target Kumi next so Kenya promises to keep an eye on Kumi. So far so good, Yashiro doesn't look like he suspects anything.
Flashback time!
Back at the stairwell, Satoru reveals to Kenya that all his memories came back to him and spills the beans that it was in fact their old teacher, Mr. Yashiro that is the child killer. Kenya says that he now goes by another name. A councilman named Manabu Nishizono and he had his suspicions of him as well. He said that the car that took a plunge in the lake was reminescent to his car but it was definitive proof so Mr. Yashiro was not a suspect. Kenya points that the forthcoming Fireoworks show at the mountains is sponsored none other that HIM. It's a motherfucking trap. He believes that Yashiro is going to kill Kumi and frame Satoru.
This is when they come up and talk plan and retribution.
Now we're back at the camp where Kumi joins the rest of the kids while the fireworks are bring prepared. They all pass the blue blankets in a formation none the wiser to Yashiro not too far off and texts from Sachiko's phone he stole earlier.
Like clockwork, he texts Kumi's phone to go catch up with Satoru. Little did HE know that part of Satoru's plan set in motion was that they were prepared that this would happen so while on the bus ride over there, Satoru persudes Kumi to trade phones. So Satoru knows what's up.
He immediately calls Kenya to relay that a text was confirmed. Satoru continues to say that he will attempt to lure Yashiro alone in due time.
Yashiro is in the woods all giddy and shit that his plan he set in motion is getting him all riled up all over again. To fix loose ends. To being an end to the Satoru chapter. He does his psycho smile and talks to himself that his day is finally here.
Sachiko catches up with Satoru and it appears he did not let his momma know of his plan. Maybe for her own protection or whatever. Sachiko reveals that the Numi got a letter in her backpack (!!!) from "Satoru" about wanting to watch the fireworks at a spot at the lake.
Satoru's spidey senses be tingling. Instantly realizing that it was a forged note by Yashiro, he springs up and out of there to hopefully catch up to Numi. Sachiko is clueless.
I mean, he's moving at a snail's pace but he eventually finds Numi but Yashiro appears right behind her. At least that was what I thought. It is actually Sawada who just so happens to have the same facial hair. It's seems obvious who is copying who. Sawada is still the good guy and he relays that he got the message from Kenya as a fellow ally to get to her before Yashiro.
He then gets a text that says to meet him at the swaying ground. Satoru realizes that Yashiro already caught on that he switched the phones. And this particular message is for SATORU!
