Episode 1 "Strangers in a Strange Land"

Boyd is seen ringing his bell and steadily walking through the town but it confused why no one is around. He looks up and sees the roaring rain clouds above him. It was all a dream. He woke up still in this vertical narrow shaft. He desperately tries to leverage his way up but I guess cartoons make it look easy. He slips back to the ground and yells in frustration.

Over in the town everyone really is gone save for the philosophy teacher turned bartender who is one of the few who stayed behind. He looks in bewilderment when he sees a huge bus strolling by. One of the men pleads for the bus to stop because "bad things are going to happen" but an older man tries to restrain him but ends up getting puked on instead. That convinces him to tell the bus driver to stop.

The events from Colony House resume from the end of the Season 1 finale where everybody is freaking out and then trying to do damage control literally! Jade and the rest of the people outside frantically gather all the equipment inside due to the roaring storms. Julie sees how shook Donna is and demands to know what was said on the radio that sent her dad yeeting himself out of there like Usain Bolt. All Donna can return is a look of horror.

Jim reaches the house and sees the shambles left behind so he yells for Tabitha while trying to dig his way down to her.

Way underground is Victor leading them out to safety but Tabitha is being annoying AF despite telling her to shush as she may wake the monsters. Yep. That's where the monsters slumber. All they can do is whisper. She bumps into a suitcase which has a white women's nightgown. WTF indeed.

Donna immediately recovers resumes her "get shit done" attitude. Off, in the distance, Jade observes the bus that stopped in town so Donna sets the plans in motion as protocol as when Jim and his family first arrived. Get ze shotgunzzz.

The passengers exits the bus and bummed to see the diner locked. Looks like the rain is one its way out since some sunshine is peeking out but looks like 1 person is having the time of their life here.

There is a few people on the bus including Elton, the one who claimed bad things are about to happen, and a pediatric nurse who tries to assist him the best she can. She seems like such a sweet and caring lady. There is also another handsome guy keeping on eye on him too, don't know his name yet but he cute. Elton was asked why he was saying those things and only thing that can get muttered out is that he had a dream. It gets rudely interrupted when puked on guy gets back on the bus to start shit with him but hunky guy tells him to chillax.

Julie runs back into town and is like OMG when she sees the newbies in town and Ellis is right behind her but she continues to run to search for her dad. Bartender catches up with Ellis to try to tell the noobs that a bunch of people will be coming soon to help them. The bus driver gives him the side eye and says nahhhh if they don't have a mop then she's good. Ohh boy, they have no idea the shit storm they just walked into.

Julie finds her dad but she's getting really overwhelmed but Jim tells her to stay strong. A couple people from the bus end up volunteering to help out. Including Mr. Puked On. Bartender notices, if Tabitha was digging, WTF is up with the hole on the ceiling? Jim is like "Just help, bro." So away they start clearing away debris.

This is when Kenny, Donna and a few other people arrive in the van. Kenny opens up the diner to the people.

Boyd still trapped. He tries to call out to Sarah. Once he starts laughing getting some humor out of it he hears an old man's voice. Claiming to help him but only if he promises to help in return. Creepy sense tingling....A rope is thrown and Boyd proceeds to climb.

Jade getting ready to roll his last doobie while the recuperating girl who is going to be a temporary cyclops goes up to him asking him what to do next. He just says he's going to get stoned. Uhh Ok? And she steps off. As soon as she leaves, he hallucinates the symbol on the wall. This time there is a ventriloquist dummy sitting next to him and YAHHHHHHHH's and Jade YAHHHHHHHH's back. He goes smoke outside where a curious Ethan follows him outside. Such a cutie! Jade expresses how this whole thing was a massive fail and lil Ethan tries to bring his spirits back up by saying when the Cromenokle failed...yeah I totally do NOT know how to spell that shit well actually I do because I turned on CC. Jade interrupts and just asks here Victor's old room is at the Colony House.

Down under, Victor continues to lead Tabitha but she's being a girl. They eventually come up to a cavern where there are random pieces from an older time period judging by the box TV, outdated tricycle and such and....a rotting corpse. Great. Holy shit, Victim sees the dummy Jade did. He drops the flashlight and runs. Tabitha is still there??? Ha. She picks up the flashlight and sees Victor in a fetal position as if the dummy triggered a unfortunate PTSD episode. Now Tabitha is the one who is trying to encourage him to keep going.

Ethan leads Jade to Victor's old room but is careless swiping papers and shit around. Lil boy tells him to stahhhp but Victor's like "The man's probably dead so I don't think he minds." He immediately regrets saying harsh words so he apologizes in the same breath.

"Nah, it's okay because you're wrong and he's playing his part in this quest. You are too, dood! Besides, why do you even care about Victor?"

He shows him the symbol he's been seeing every time he hallucinates and Victor sees it scribbled in a book. A book where he found the picture of mini Victor in front of the diner. That's why. Ethan makes it a point to say that maybe not be a good thing to pursue as there is no way to know if that is a good symbol or a bad symbol. And bad symbols can make you do bad things. What a creepy kid. Jade said that, not I. heh.

Meanwhile back in town, Donna gives the bus driver the low down and as expected she does not believe her one bit, despite her pleas.

Jim and da bois continue to make some way. And just like that, shit from above comes crashing down, narrowly missing hurting them. It seems to only cause further damage.

Nurse and Elton head towards the diner but then he has a violent seizure! Sarah 2.0?!?!?! Kenny and Julie come to aid.

The bus driver and Donna's conversation comes to a halt when they see the house completely collapses. Everybody from the diner rushes to help them.

Victor and Tabitha reach another chamber and there's more dead bodies. Fuuuuuck, the monsters are starting to wake up! That's one way to beeline the fuck out of there. They finally reach the exit and skedadle flintstones style.

As if things can't get any worse, turns out that the Nurse is actually Kristie's fiance. Wow. Kenny must be happy.

Bus driver, who has done fuck all to help with the debris removal, commands the passengers to get back on the bus and let the emergency services deal with it. Some abide and a few others stayed behind to help.

Jim makes the drastic call to tell them to stop helping. The way the house crumbled down is so delicate and it could pose a threat to make it even worse and kill them all in the process. He literally wants them to let them die there. He doesn't want to risk more lives lost.

Julie refuses to want to do that but Donna tries to be real with her and says he's right and there's not much they can do. Even if they do have the talisman come sundown, they need to be in an enclosed space for it to work (Like what Fatima pulled to help saved Ellis) Here's to hoping they won't die but as long as they stay quiet through the night, the monsters won't be attracted to them. She would know because she was able to survive in that town about a year before Boyd found those talimans.

Shit gets rocked when Donna hears the bus driver start the bus up and demands everyone to board. Donna pleads with her that she is about to get them all killed if they leave. Bus driver still can't comprehend. Literally no one believes Donna (except Elton honestly who has yet to speak up again).

Well...Donna did try to do this the nice way and this is exactly why she has a protocol for newcomers (and Jim's fam). Let's go to Plan B.

Some people run in fear but most end up going inside the diner.

As sun is setting, a couple of folks get some fabric to cover up any spaces to help better their chances for survival. Julie relucantly leaves as night as fast approaching.

We finally get to Boyd he climbs his way to the top but he himself hallucinates a little bit but he makes it up top. Only to see an old man chained up to the wall. Ya know that "help" he promised him? He wants Boyd to kill him.

Episode 2 is next.
