Episode 1 "Psycho Puppy Killer"

Timeline: September 2022.
Taking place at Nilgiri Valley School in Ooty it is the beginning of a school day where a school official, Chandra Prakash, is seen walking through this dreary day when he is stopped by a construction worker asking why the Dean hasn't moved out of the house nearby as it is impedes their work. Chandra replies that despite having his belongings moved, he still decided to slumber there last night.
He continues walking saying his good morning pleasantries to everyone while he beelines his way to knock on his door. He politely beckons Dean Vyas but to no answer. He hears a bump off to the side of the house so he cautiously follows that banging sound ever so slowly. Aye, it was just a gust of wind in the back door! Silly goof! So he closes the door back up but sees a strange sight. It appears to be dragging marks on the ground that is leading into the wooded area. A still lit flashlight is on but HOLY FUCK the aforementioned back door bursts back open!
Chandra creeps back to the open door and peers inside the pitch black building. The scene immediately cuts to seeing him running like a bat out of hell away from that building. He is obviously scared for his life but he makes it back and bursts into the office to a very confused looks on all of his colleagues.
"Dean Vyas is NO MORE!"
Timeline: 3 Months Later - Present Day
It is now in the dead ass of night where there is children in their sleeping quarters. Like a large room with cots on it. A young boy named Vedant jolts awake in a panic. Breathing heavily, he tries to reach for a glass of water but gets shooketh.
Well it turns out that it's his bullies of similar ages who abducted him and stuffed him in a locker. He is banging helplessly begging the ringleader, Sarthak, to let him out. With his 2 lackeys behind him, he coldly bids him goodnight.
One of the bullies, Kabir, has some hesitations but not because he cares about his well being or anything. He just does not want to be expelled. but of course Sarthak and Dhruv put some fear into him threatening to stuff him in a locker too. Due to peer pressure, he's forced into allegiance. Sucks, bro.
Sarthak says his parting words to poor Vedant that he must keep quiet or else the ghost of the late Dean Vyas wilk get him but to strike even more fear into him, he says to avoid making eye contact with this ghost. And walks away.
With all the lights turned off, Vedant starts to hear creepy movement and there is a silhouette making its way to the locker. He is still crying and sees a pair of shoes and thinking it is one of the bullies so he begs to be let out. This ghost bends down and makes DIRECT EYE CONTACT with Vedant!! And just like that, this ghost unlocks the locker. As Vedant steps out, he feels beckoned to a slowly opened door.
The next day when he is in fact discovered, he is sitting silently outside the office and new Dean KC Swamy is meeting with both of his parents. Before they get a chance to speak, Dean is not showing any empathy for their child. He pretty much just says that he's miserable there, tried to run away, has midnight accidents and so on. Pretty much trying to say he doesn't want Vedant in this school anymore.
This is, however, met with pushback from his father, also expressing no empathy saying 1st year at this school is usually tough for everyone. He is plain 'ol rejecting what Dean is trying to do. He has a slight distraction when he notices a pamphlet on the table that a 15 year reunion is coming up for the class of 2007. This does not deter him at all and ends the meeting telling Dean is suck it up and deal with their son.
While this meeting is taking place, the secretary notices young Vedant is is no longer on the bench. So where is he?
I guess the poor kid had enough of them talking shit so he excuses himself.
He almost runs into his bullies but he backtracks and splits in another direction. He enters this hallway which I guess isn't meant to be going down due to all the chairs in the hallways and classrooms obviously not being used. As he is walking, he suddenly gets SNATCHED UP AGAIN!!! He appears in one of the rooms and he is now in a fetal ball crying for Sarthak to let him go. Poor kid can't catch a break, huh?
Vedant opens his eyes only to not see anyone at all!! He gets on his feet and cautiously walks around until he approaches this table. It's a yearbook for the class of 2007. The little kid, flips through the pages until he sees an entire class picture. He notices one of the people's faces is scratched out. Then he hears a ghostly apparition call out for his name. OOooooohhhhhh!!!
Ah, no. It was actually the secretary who found him just in time and leads him back to the office.
Meanwhile, halfway across the world to the United States of America in Boston, Massachusetts is Adhiraj Jaisingh is introduced as a new character. He's a professor at this college. Interestingly, the topic he was teaching this day was about Mahabharat, an indian epic. Pretty obvious to point out but the theme here about holding grudges which implies foreshadowing of the potential plot of this series. (Don't kill the messenger! I've seen way too many stuff like this.)
Class is dismissed and he informs his class that he is going to take a short leave of absence. Two of his pupils make small chit chat with him asking where and why. Well, it's for his 15 year reunion, yo!!!
As he is heading out the door, he sees a creepy as silhouette at his door and he's shaking like a little girl. Nah, just a random feller. He gets a phone call from the head admin for Nilgiri just confirmation stuff. In passing conversation he asks if they touched base with Ninad Raman, a yet to be seen character. To his confuzzlement, she implies she has not.
Adhiraj is at home now, packing up this shit to go party it up in India. In the background is his doctor who left a message concerning his anxiety medication. Interesting. The plot is starting to unravel my dudes! Not only is he taking anti anxiety meds but he has a new dosage and this doctor is warning of side effects like hallucinations and shit. Oh yeah and, stay positive! le click. Now he is about to have a flashback.
Timeline: 2007 Nilgiri's Last Day of School.
Teenaged Adhiraj is standing in the auditorium (or something like it?) staring at the Class of 2007 banner getting hung up. His gawking gets interrupted when his girlfriend, Malvika, hollers at her boi to lowkey berate him for applying to college in America without communicating with her about it. Adhiraj tries to do damage control and says he will spend as much time with her as possible in his final week in India. It's just that things are prettty hectic, you know?
Oh dang. In such short words, Adi, as Malvika calls him for short, is explained as being the (at the time) Dean's daughter and they were keeping their relationship a secret. That explains why she is the only girl there at this all boys school. They are intending on keeping there long distance relationship tight as ever when he goes abroad.
Adhiraj exits the room to join his 2 BFFs, Suyash and Rajat who totally punk his ass but it's all in friendly fun, though.
Everyone goes outside to take their class photo. Adihiraj looks around asking for Ninad since he is the only one missing. People around him seem to not give any care even Dean Vyas (YES THAT ONE) who says he shouldn't even be in the class photo anyway. Wanting to wait for his real BFF, he tries to stall as much as he can until Ninad finally arrives!!!!
Ninad comes running up while everyone is nagging at his ass for being late. Suyash is actually kind of being an asshole to him so Adhiraj has to literally tell him verbatim "Stop fucking around." (lol I love it when they random speak english lines. That's what I do in my broken spanish.) Devi, who is sitting next to him, due to all of his manneuisms and their interactions with each other seem to hold some hostilitiy towards each. He even makes a rude remark about those 2 BFFs.
Not giving a fuck about these jerks, he expresses his grattiude to Adhiraj with the line "Adu, I knew you wouldn't let them take the picture without me." This is to imply how awesome their friendship is. Tubular.

Timeline: Present Day
Adult Adhiraj just stands there as he went down memory lane and holding his Class of 2007 badge, looking sad remembrance of some kind of yet to be known sad recollection.
Meanwhile, Kumaran, whom is the groundskeeper for Nilgiri, makes his way towards the sleeping quarters that once belonged to Dean Vyas. With some creepy foreshadowing on the plaque...in english words nonetheless.
He continues to walk and gets a creepy vibe. Oy, he still has a job to do so he steps forward even going past the No Trespassing sign. Why? Because the wack ass gate opened up spontaneously. Uh huh.
You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat, you know? Well actually it's not the cat that was killed. Kumaran stumbled upon the grisly crime scene with Vedant covered in blood with an emotionless look on his face when he turned towards him. As soon as he locked eyes with him, Vedant let go of a bloody rod and passed out on the ground!
He is brought to the nurse. Two other student are seen peeking through the window and gossiping about what they heard. The girl class Vedant chopped 10 puppies in pieces. I don't think it was that many, to be honest. The "corpses" didn't even look like puppies but maybe that was to spare our feels. The boy doesn't believe her and just thinks Vedant is too much of a non aggressive person to do that. The young girl replies back that it was probably Dean Vyas' ghost that possessed him to kill. Who knows, really?
A woman named Supriya appears and tells them to go scoot along now and get to class. She doesn't enter the room but she takes a quick glance at him before moving along, herself.
Dean KC Swamy is having a faculty meeting firstly reprimanding Warden Manohar for not being more on top of things as far as not detecting Vedant running away the previous night (and no, they had no idea it was the bullies for who did because he kept silent).
During this meeting, Supriya and Prakash (the dude who found Vyas dead) are having a disagreement over whether or not Vedant actually killed those puppies as they have no proof. She is a very compassionate lady and wants to give the young child the benefit of a doubt and thinks it may have been the combination of wrong timing of being found and being a curious kid that just so happened to pick up a rod from the construction site, making him look more guilty than he already looks.
In a swift change in topic, Dean KC Swamy seems to care more about the special reunion that's happening tomorrow and he simply cannot even. He dismisses the meeting.
He asks to speak with Supriya, who is revealed to actually be the school counselor, which totally explains her empathy and compassion, asks for his help to get Vedant in tip top shape. Oh yeah and to keep him TF out of the reunion festivities. Wow, this guy sucks.
As she leaves his office, she gets accosted by none other than Prakash with the foreboding line "We may forget out mistakes, but our mistakes will never forget us." The main point of what he was saying was that he was pushing for a spiritual cleansing of the school due to the disturbing manner he found Vyas' dead body. She doesn't share the same sentiment, unfortunately.
Later that night, the students are in the dining hall eating supper when in walks Vedant. it was like the world stopped. All the kids being jerks to this poor kid even more. Calling him a puppy killer and a psycho. All he can do is look to the ground and slowly get his food.
The 3 bullies are talking amongst themselves wondering just HOW did he get out of that locker that was sealed with a padlock and yeeted keys? They figured he didn't rat them out. They keep saying that he better not snitch. No remorse from these jerks. In fact, Sarthak has plans for Vedant to ensure that.
After supper, just before lights out. Sarthak is seen with a cold ass look on his face making his way towards his room.
Cut to where 2 completely different student are banging on Warden Manohar's door saying something is wrong and it is something to do with Vedant.
He bangs on the door demanding Sarthak to open the door threatening reprecussions. However, abruptly he is able to open the door. He slowly steps inside and makes his way deeper in the corridors. Feeling hella creeped out, he continues to walk through the eerie silence only to be met with Vedant brushing his teeth.
Manohar asks if he is ok first and foremost. Then does to him Sarthak. He finds Sarthak on the floor in a bathroom stall clearly looking traumatized. Manohar asks what Vedant did to him only for Sarthak to reply that what he dealt with was in fact not Vedant. He looks to him and the moment he makes eye contact with him, Sarthak quickly breaks his eye contact.
HOLY SHIT
Adhiraj is now currently on his flight waking up with a nightmare or at least a series of not soo happy imagery. He jolts awake and turns on his light and takes his anxiety meds. Then just...staring in to the black void that is his window.
Vedant also jolts awake from his sleep later in the night and also puts his hand to his mouth. This time, he is met with blood coming out of his nose. Shocker, Adhiraj is simultaneously experiencing the same exact thing!!!
The next day, Supriya is having one on one time with Vedant playing this maze like exercise or game of some sort.
With his hand on the mini idol in the maze, he keeps saying over and over again that the piece is stuck. "He can't get out. He is stuck. Just like me. I am stuck here!" Obviously concerned, she tries to make a more optimistic approach saying she can help them both get out together.
Some dude named Apu is blowing up her phone until she can no longer ignore it so she excuses herself to attend to it. She asks if Vedant will be okay being alone for a few minutes. "I am not alone." lol unintentionally funny but you're not supposed to laugh!
It is, afterall, the reunion!! So we see a lot of cars pull in on campus. Everyone is stepping out of their cars with their spouses. The first one we see being reintroduced is Suyash. He and his girlfriend, Nancy (a Tollywood star) look...a little high maintenance if you know what I mean. While the dean is talking to him, he rudely ignores him the second he sees Rajat and give cool guy hand shakes all around. It is implied Suyash is a famous actor too.
Malvika is next to make her grand entrance. She arrived with Dev Pratap Jamwal whom he seems to also come from a prestigous background. They both are married! Malvika excuses herself to chat with Rajat whom talk about their merry marriage. In a split second, he brings up that the Malvika he once knew, used to make Adhiraj dance to her tunes.
Ooooh snap. As if on cue, Adhiraj makes his grand entrance and gives Dev a nice warm hug. They explain pleasantries. Even asking why he wasn't at their wedding (HE WAS INVITED?!) They all join back in their big group. Adhiraj looks around looking for his BFF and sees a board where alumni place their hand prints and he is saddened to see that Ninad's the only missing handprint.
Everyone gathers around to take their class picture. He looks around hoping (like in the original time) that Ninad would make his fashionably late entrance but nope. Picture get taken. But just in the same exact time a statue falls to the grouund and everyone freaks the fuck out (well YEAH they could have been squished like a tortilla!)
Adhiraj looks up and sees Vedant give him the death stare. Vedant is clutching the wooden idol from the maze until it broke in two and the pieces fell on the floor. The look on his face? Oooooohhhhh!!!!!
