Marianne: Episode 7

Previously on Marianne

In my tortured ears
there sounds unceasingly a nightmare whirring and flapping,
and a faint, distant baying as of some gigantic hound.

Now: Episode 7 "Too Young to Handle It"

February 17, 1617 excerpt of the Molitor Report was recorded as the day that the witch Marianne Basselin was caught, executed and buried. A depiction of a man of the lord who is supposed to crawl down six feet under and burn a piece of cursed paper but he gets so spooked and the crawls out of there before the entirety of the paper is in ashes.

Reeling from the aftermath of Inspector Ronan under the influence of Marianne, everyone is trying to get a hold of themselves but to their surprise, his corpse get reanimated. Once they realize that Marianne's soul is en route to take possession of his body, they all run like fuck outside. Only to be met by the priests dog.

Just like old times, they run. Only, this isn't one of those fun runs. They all get split up. Some get back in the building but Emma takes refuge in the car. When she rises back up, the dog is right on top of the hood. She grabs a gun from the compartment and the dog is mysteriously bye bye bye.

She cautiously steps out of the car to try to make a bee line for the building but she hears growling.

Backtracking a few seconds that are now in the perspective of Aurore and Sebastien who are the ones who go back from the very room they ran from. The toy belonging to Aurore's sister is now smack dab in the middle of the room because creepy as fuck. They both make their way around the perimeter of the room. The money dolls now says "One of you will die."

The monkey starts haunting Sebastien with sounds of his newborn crying while describing in graphic detail how much joy it had eating the infant. It starts to wear down his mental stability so Aurore whips out her music players and tells him to focus on the music in the earbuds.

Now it's Aurore's turn. She is haunted by the imagery of her little sister, Lucille taunting them as they are hiding underneath the table. She now turns to him telling him that he knows where his newborn is. He is starting to crack all over again,

Then back to Aurore by saying when she died in that freezer, Emma was there. I'm guessing that Emma failed to tell Aurore about them playing hide and seek the day she died. Now Aurore is being haunted. They both to keep each other in check. When they come out of the table is when they hear the gunshots followed by Emma running in the room holding a gun to them asking which one of them Marianne is possessing.

She's blinded by rage at this point but eh, I guess not so much anymore so she puts her gun back down lol. Marianne, can't lie, remember? So she chills her roll rather quickly.

New book graphic titled Chapter 13 "Arnaud"

Once again back tracking with the priest's dog chasing everyone now it is Arnaud's turn. He goes running into well the water or lighthouse. He is currently on the coastline where he sees his dead brother and says he is a prisoner, pointing to I think the shipwreck? He asks when his brother will be back. Tonio responds he will when Emma writes him. He continues to bring up Aurore that he's a bit of an asshole to her and stop taking advantage of her kind nature. Despite bad shit happening when Emma writes, she infact must or else she will be next. He implores to make Emma understand that. Then Arnaud hears Emma's gunshots.

Arnaud goes back to the school building where Emma does her question thing again and rejoins after he says negatory.

Everything should be honky dory now that everyone is under the same roof and unscathed right? Right?

Aurore then starts being aggressive towards Emma asking what would have happened if Arnaud said yes? Shoot him like she shot the dog? She claimed she didn't shoot the dog and fair enough that no one saw with their own eyes though, only heard the gun shots. Emma tries to reminds her that Marianne is toying with they to turn them all against each other. Aurore is plagued with what she heard from haunty Lucille so she definitely notices that something is not adding up here.

Without warning all the red sensors are lighting up! Awww shit. In the shadow is reanimated corpse Ronan writing on the wall of who will be next. The dark shadow next to her is Marianne who LUNGES AT AURORE! I am pretty sure she is the only one who sees this shit because no one is really reacting. Nope they didn't.

An invisible force pulls her against the wall and Emma goes to her aid.

Arnaud makes his pleas that she must write and there is no other option at this point. Emma refuses to as she always says that bad things always happens when she writes.  Arnaud and Sebastien start yelling at her.

Aurore brings up Lucie's accident again and asks dead ass if Emma was there at the school when Lucie died. Shit hits the fan when Emma reveals the truth, even if she did not lock her in herself, the darkness surrounding her being at the school damn well insured it to happen. Aurore is just heartbroken that she knew for 15 years. Like I said, it wasn't Emma's fault but Aurore does blame her for just leaving her there and running away without telling anyone.

As Emma is continuing to cry in guilt as Sebastien and Arnaud are saying what she did was unforgivable and to make things right to....write.

In a blubbering mess, Emma walks over to Ronan's corpse and retrieves his glasses but is stopped by Arnaud blocking the door pointing the gun to her head and says she ain't fucking going anywhere until she fucking writes.

She says nah. She'll find a new way to hurt her.

Arnaud lowers his gun and wishes Marianne take her instead. In a split second Marianne say I WILL TAKE YOU THEN and Arnaud rises up and out of the ceiling to disappear from that room foreverrrrrr.

He awakens in the gloomy lighthouse where Marianne finally materializes to Arnaud and says sike Tonio is dead and drowned. And all we hear if Arnaud screaming his lungs out as Marianne lunges at him presumably dead now.

Chapter graphic appears. Chapter 14 "I Will Write"

The next morning Emma sits down in her room to open her laptop and uhhh writes. She writes. The main character of Emma's book is now narrating the writings and internal monologue now as there is a montage of scenes ranging from Emma, Sebastien and Aurore gloomily walking back home in the early hours of morning to Sebastien coming home to seeing a brown bag hanging from a tree....the bag starts crying like a baby. Oh wait.

As it turns out, Emma was telling the truth about the dog because it goes hurling past her.

She gets woken up the same night to Sebastien knocking at her window to tell her the good news about da baby. Also that in his own words that he didn't mean when he said she was unforgivable. She has her faults like any person but she sheds light. Yeahhhh whatever that means, bro. She has a zest of herself to show it anyway.

This conversation devolves into Sebastien actually being the one to seduce Emma. I don't really care for this part...he's a married man! WTF.

Emma wakes up the next morning alone in bed. Was it all a dream? I couldn't tell ya to be honest because she looks towards her window which is ajar. Did it or didn't it? Ughhhh.

She has a rude awakening when there is a loud banging at her door. The priest comes hurling through the front door with a crucifix in one hand doing some kind of exorcism incantation in latin which freaks the fuck out of Emma. Then WACK!!!
