Now: Episode 8 "Red Sky / Rojo

Elvis wakes up and gets out of his bed. In the front is a dancing Nancy along with Ramiro sitting nearby saying that there's some enchiladas ready to get consumed. He hears a baby crying and Nancy says that must be Mayaken who woke up. Elvis then asks Ramiro where is Mariana but apparently she was taken away years ago. 🎵Grupo Mono Blanco Y Stone Lips "Se Acaba El Mundo"🎵

Yeah okay now Elvis doesn't think any of this shit is real. He looks at a clock right next to them and doesn't see the minute hand or anything moving. Nancy is being all flirty and it looks like him and Ramiro are a couple. He then tells them all to read the first word in a nearby magazine and of course all three have different answers but Nancy and Ramiro be acting like NPC's in a Grand Theft Auto game and Elvis is about to go crazy.

He whips out his guns and says he thinks they are all dreaming and in order to break this dreaming state, they have to point a gun to their head. Yeah things took a disturbing turn. On the count of three, SHOOT!

Nancy and Elvis immediately wake up from their shared dream and they are still in that damn cave. Ramiro, that silly goose, didn't pull the trigger but that's the least of their problems. What the fuck happened here?! They look to their side and see Mama Chebala's face ripped the fuck off. So she is totes ded now. Okay, now back to trying to wake up Ramiro.

Now that Isaac AKA El Indio comes barging in the church along with Keta where Elvis and Nancy catch they up on their lovely spelunking adventure. El Indio says he remembers seeing those underground maps but of course his brain got fried pretty good so he only remembers small fragments and none of which are of any use to help them. After some minced words, they unanimously agree that they are ride or die til the end. Let's get to the bottom of this ritual and found those cursed kids!

Ramiro is stuck in the shared dream but now it's just him in this dream now. He gets up and strolls to the other room and looks in the mirror and sees in his reflection that there is a brooding winged creature behind him. Ehhh good or bad? I guess he didn't want to stick around to find out either so he just shoots his brains out and finally wakes up from the dream to the relieved IRL crowd.

The entire group exits the church takes on look at the sky. Yup, it's the apocalypse. Let's yeet out of here. El Indio finesses his way into driving Elvis' treasured baby, The Hound. OMG I love Indio, this dude is just such a hoot especially with his dynamic with every one of the members. 🎵🎵

Meanwhile on social media everyone is posting about this #MexicoApocalypse on Instagram and whatever social media is trendy and hip right now. Everyone is losing their shit over the red sky that has now materialized. Not so much freaking out but posting on social media and all that jazz.

They all reach Song, the demon appraiser. Only to find his show is locked up. Wait no, the chick is there and begrudgingly opens up the gates for them. Off topic but is so hot to see a korean man speaking spanish. Heh. Anyway, Elvis notices that they looksa like they are packing up to GTFO. Song is like, "Yeah, what of it?" All the apocalyptic signs are there so, DUH! They are fleeing to South Korea, hopefully no hellbound shenanigans there.

Elvis wants them to fight with them but Son Hee (whom I think is now played by another actress compared to 1st episode but not quite sure) says "Nah, son." So Elvis says to Song to yeet all their quicksilver over to him. They oblige!

After the obligatory montage, Keta reminds Elvis repeating the words of Benito that that only way to defeat this top tier level demon is a feather of an angel but like...that's near impossible. Or something from an angel idk.

The group sends themselves off from the shop and bid Song and Son Hee adieu.

When they hop in the Hound, Ramiro is the only one to notice that the song playing on the radio is the exact song that was playing in the background of their shared dream. Makes sense he would know. He was there the longest anyway.

While Ramiro was mentioning that when Indio starts to get more vivid flashes of his memory back. Slowly but surely and eventually he REMEMBERS! It was at a site where there were sacrificial remains that were uncovered somewhere in the distant past. But HEY! They have a lead now! Heigh oh silver, AWAYYYYY!!!

Meanwhile we finally get a glimpse of the 4 little mini demons that make their way downtown.

The entire group is discussing what they would do if this world doesn't like end. Indio of course being the thirsty AF toward Keta much to her annoyance which is pretty funny to watch. They are stuck in traffic and they realize they hate traffic so they all get out and walk the rest of the way. Indio's goofy ass whips out his phone and takes a group selfie.

They spot the adorable little hellraisers. Ramiro begs to not shoot them and wants to try to talk to them first. You know, since one of them is his daughter. Of course that did not fly. Except Ramiro. He did go flying. Elvis checks if he is ok then tells him he is an idiot because she is obviously possessed.

Ramiro confesses that what he saw in that shared dream was an angel. He actually saw that angel twice. The first time when he was about to kill himself by jumping off a building. Seeing the angel nearby staring at him and guess what? HE ACTUALLY STEPPED OFF THE BUILDING! The angel was the one who rescued him. Interesting plot development there, bois. So he thinks that this is a sign from the lawd. He swears that the angel has always been by his side to protect him so if he goes up to fight that demon, the angel will do its thang. Sorry for being so ELI5 but yeah that's the plan.

Not to mention Elvis did do that forbidden incantation when he trying to summon an angel but of course it didn't go as planned. Keta says who cares JUST DO IT!!!!!

Since it is nearly the end of the world (as we know it) Nancy just says eh, what the hell and lays a big one on Ramiro. A quick kiss on the lips. Sparks fly. Literally. Then she goes off to do her little countdown to summon a demon of her own.

Elvis ends up doing the incantation again with Keta while Ramiro in a circle. Right when the little hellraisers are hovering signialing the incoming summoning of the demon, looks like it knocked the kids off their rocker and they come crashing down to the ground.

Literally at the same time, Indio's daughters, Thalia and Pauline come to help in any way they can. Omg don't you just love them!!

Also, Benito comes to join the clan as well and tags with Elvis and Keta!! Holy this things are about to get crunk.

Well, fuck. I guess the kids did summon the demon because we now see his ass rise from the ashes.

Indio's side shooting guns, Elvis' side incantations, Nancy is bit out of commision. Benito lunges at the demon but he just swats him aside like a ragdoll. What was he thinking he was going to accomplish, that silly goose!

A now angry Elvis is next to charge at the demon but ducks just in time. Ramiro sees the angels feather and makes a mad dash for it. He double jumps and BAM he catches it and everything is just white everywhere.

Ramiro is now in this other dimension surrounded by darkness. Sort of. He is not even standing anywhere just floating in nothingness. He sees the 4 kids and yells for Mariana, reaching for her. When he reaches her, in her voice she asks who he is. This is when he finally tells her that he is her dad. He begs her to go back and that he will exchange his soul for hers as long as she just gets out of there. They embrace with a big ol hug.

Okay now back to the war field, everyone is in disarray. Elvis goes to aid in his dad. Looks like everything is kaput as in no more type 7 demon. Benito is about to succumb to his injuries. Only then does Benito finally decides to bestow his cherished claw (like in the flashback).

Keta runs to Mariana and she asks where is her dad (awwwwww). Now everyone is asking where the heck Ramiro is. Yeah, donde esta Ramiro?!?!?

So the red sky debacle is explained in the media as some mediorite BS to explain the sulfur smell.

Meanwhile Carinal Morelo is telling his team to figure out everything about that (fucking) angel. Um excuse me?! I didn't know a man of the lawd would dare to use that language?! Anyway, they tested what they could find from that demon site and yup it turns out that it all has tested positive for angel material but no sign of Ramiro. They place the jar on a shelf. Which actually has a fuck ton of other jars. They definitely know their shit.

SIX MONTHS LATER

Nancy is raising Mariana along with Elvis and Keta nearby. Everything is all hunky dory just like in their shared dream but it's no dream this time, it's for REAL. A knock at the door and it's Indio, Thalia and Pauline. Indio still flirting with Keta but of course affections are unrequited.

Elvis and Indio have playful bicker. Maybe not playful. Could be just passive aggression.

Everyone is at the table having some shots, except Mariana of course. She probably got at least a decade left before she can join in on that fun. They toast and stuff their fat faces. Like a happy family.

Elvis then starts to get suspicious all over again since everything is a little *too perfect* so once again he has them all read the same word at the same time.

"MORON"

Can't anyone just have a happy ending here?

Mariana and Nancy was chating when she comes across Ramiro's sketchbook which she gives to Mariana. She asks what her dad was like and of course Nancy just sings high praises of him and Mariana is like "Ok" and walks off.

In the other room is Elvis and Keta reminiscing the whereabouts of Ramiro. Also say they will never stop looking for her son, Mayaken.

Nancy, in the bathroom, is unnerved to see that the window to the bathroom is open so she closes it. She gets the heebiest of jeebies.

Skipping now to another sceen where this young boy is walking in front of this mansion or will and asees a dead bird. He picks it up and the boy whispers an incantations which brings the vird back to life and releases it. That kid? MAYAKEN!!!!!

That concludes 1st season. Luckily there is a 2nd season so keep checking and I will eventually start 2nd season. Somewhere but keep checking the SCHEDULE that I update weekly.
