Now: Episode 3

Now that the crowd is in full force. Cameras are fixated. And the masked guests have taken their seats Park sitting solitary in her chair. The countdown resumes. There is a woman on the intercom from The New Truth that is totally using this as a testament to further fear monger the crowd and also the people watching the live TV broadcast that after what they are about to see should change their perspective of their foolish lives and live for the better. Quit acting a fool, yo!

Park is sitting in her chair sobbing to her impending doom is awaiting her fate.

Once the countdown goes to on. Silence. Yes, silence. As if everyone held their breath they are just expecting someone or something to just pop out but there is just literally silence. The more the seconds pass, the more skeptical people are becoming. It is met with nothing but confused looks on everyone's face. Right when they are about to call it a day...ominous stomping in the distance.

One massive motha suddenly APPEARS!!! Everyone is stunned shitless especially the lawyer lady Min and her lawyers who totally expected this to be fake as fuck. The entty tackles her against a wall and stabs her arm. Police are ordered to fire but they refuse. Kyunghun catches Eunypo smiling and laughing. Kyunghun starts shooting but black blob swats him unconscious into a wall.

TWO MORE APPEAR

All three now are slaughtering this poor woman to a bloody pulp. Many people look away in horror and sadness while the entities continue the onslaught and then suck her soul out or whatever with the bright light. Her corpse is now burnt to a crisp. The 3 gigantic entities jump towards the masked guests but disappear into a portal.

Eunypo slowly walks to Park's remains and bows. As do the rest of the crowd in attendance. Min looking like 😱

Kyunghun wakes up in the hospital creepily alone. He is still internally freaking out since he still can't get a hold of his daughter, Heejung, as calling her number keeps going to voicemail.

The day after the televised demise of Park Jungja, Kyunghun tunes in to this news segment introducing today's guests as this mysterious figure that rose in the social ranks through the years by his viral altruism. There are 2 separate clips shown one being saving a mother and child in a fire and another clip where he was able to talk down a man with a gun. These incidents were only a catalyst to his now renown social status today as none other than Chairman Jung whom she's interviewing today via video chat.

My man, Kyunghun, is multitasking here so while he is listening to this interview, he's surfing the web but with a cause, I guess. Being a popo, he gets an inkling and doing what a detective does best, he investigates the death of the man who murdered his wife. He manages to pull up surveilance footage where his wife's murderer was last seen alive and observes someone dragging his unconscious body with a particular clothing that sticks out to him.

The host questions in how people should proceed after these recent events. Jung says something interesting. That doing nothing out of fear of sin isn't the way to go but rather just go back to their normal routine and try their best to be pious as fuck.

Jung then makes an extremely passive aggressive remark that while his movement is on the prowl to identify the sins of Park and another previous mark, there is a certain agency being the perverbial rock in their shoe. He cuts the shit and says now that the police/lawyers helped "key witnesses" escape. The witnesses being Park's 2 young children. He makes a call for action, on LIVE TV, to take "immediate action". Then tries to guilt trip any who is tuning in how people keep missing God's message when he's been clear this whole time? And these recent Hellbounds is his sort of Old Testament way of opening the modern man's eyes.

He tilts his laptop in which Kyunghun notices a familiar looking jacket matching the surveilance video and storms off to confront him at his home.

What a shame because he missed Jung's facade slip on live TV when he snapped at the host. He ends the interview with the intense message that while we were given the choice or right and wrong, temptation will always linger and as humans, we must be kept in check by yours truly. This is the new era where we can no longer be ignorant when THE NEW TRUTH is right in front of our eyes. Okay, he didn't say that pun but it was paraphrased and would've totally sounded dorky had he did say that ha ha.

The Arrowhead pops on livestream again and makes a call of action of his own and doxes Min and the rest of her team of lawyers that have been a thorn on their side. Fucking hell, dude.

Min immediately books a flight to Canada while frantically trying to get her mother to hurry up. She then decides to open up a package she received shortly before the live demonstration. It's a...some kind of packet titled Future Church with a bookmark on an article on Jung's experience when he saw a "prophecy" 20 years. As in he was HELLBOUND?!

Kyunghun arrives to Jung's crib but all of his followers and groupies are all camped out here, there outside literally everywhere the eye can see and recognize him immediately and try to prevent him from reaching his door. He breaks down his door and bee lines to the closet where he snags the jacket in question.

Meanwhile Min frantically drives to her office but to her horror her entire office is vandalized. She finally gets a hold of Yeongho in which he pleads with her to stop persuing Jung. He's sitting bloodied on the ground in public with people everywhere snapping pics of like as if he were a monkey in a cage. Zooming out, there is an Arrowhead logo tagged on the ground.

Min runs back to her car only to be jumped by the Arrowhead as if that wasn't the worst, they start beating her own cancer ridden mother!

While she's sitting in the waiting room of the hospital, she finds out the clip of her beating is now trending on the internet. People around instantly recognize her and whisper loud as fuck as she's that traitor lady who helped eye witnesses escape the country. Her mom passes away.

When Kyunghun exits the building, the followers get crunk with him and start mollywomping on his ass. They only stop when someone notices Jung is calling Kyunghun's phone. Jung tells his followers to stop the insanity and let him exit without further harassment. The crowd is simping so hard for Jung so they're bowing and wimpering their undying devotion saying they're waiting for his return. Off he leaves where Jung sends to him which is this dilapited building.

He confides in him about the aforementioned prophecy that he received 20 years ago. He keeps referring to it as an angel. He tried to find meaning and sought similar looking cases. However, his yearning to find the meaning was fruitless. So he decided that if he can't find the real truth, then bois, here is the NEW TRUTH (sorry). Wait a fucking second, soooo that whole wanting to commit suicide story in Tibet was bullshit this whole time?!?

He figures he can create this new world by having humanity under its thumb if he can convince the world that the reason for these decrees is simply comeuppance. They need to believe that true justice can and will be served to restore that morality balance for posterity.

He says the reason why he used her daughter was because of a quote he actually said to him back in episode 1:

"According to you, God must think humans don't have autonomy over themselves."

 Basically means no self control.

So it definitely sounds like Jung was making an example out of Heejung and wanted Kyunghun to really see what he's means from his words against him. Pretty deep if you ask me.

He tells him that he has 2 choices: #1 being that he records Jung's demonstration but that also means the whole world is going to break out in a panic along with the obligation of arresting his own daughter for murder. Should he do that, Jung says that the world will remain orderly and just in his(kyungun) belief that it's the way it should be.

#2. Don't do a damn thing. Not revealing his fate to the world and just enjoy the world he left behind for him.

After a pause, the ominios distant rumbles signifying their summoning.

Kyunghun has now begun to be the sole eye witness to now soon to be Chairman Jung's demonstration.

Min meanwhile tracks down the writer of the article, in the middle of nowhere, Pastor Kim Jeongchil. He warmly invites her in. He plays the 2004  recording of the interview on his computer. When the recording finished, she asks for a copy but he deletes it like a motherfucker. He confessed that Jung visited him a few days prior. He accepted his offer that if he were to keep his decree AKA prophecy a secret, then he would be the new Chairman of the New Truth after his hellbound in which he promises him that will be the greatest religion in the world withthe caveat that he gets rid of HER. She runs outside and sees the Arrowhead already meeting up with her. And they start beating her.  He promises her that he is going to be a very different Chairman once Jung gets yeeted from his throne.

The episode ends with Kyunhun reuniting with his daughter at home. He reaches to hug him and he sobs in her arms. She sort of has this dead ass monotone look to her face so like...what is up with that, man?

Camera pans out to Min's lifeless bloodied body thrown into a ditch.

Oh and a random ass man sitting in his car in traffic, gazed at a distant monument depicting these supernatural beings that are seen upholding the prophecy, decree, hellbound whatever you would like to call it and his response?

OMG WHO IS THIS GUY!!!?!

Episode 4 is next.
