Creepshow S1E2
Episode 2 "Bad Wolf Down / The Finger"
A platoon of soldiers are under attack behind enemy lines. Active gunfire and another soldier takes out his knife to spine shank one of them. They are able to flee to a nearby by building once the inside is determined to be clear. A few are kept on watch just in case should another ambush is on the horizon.
What they failed to see if that they passed by a warning posted with a wolf on it. Buuuut i am sure they were more concerned with running for their own safety than to stop and gander at such literature.
Making themselves at home, all that is left is group of 5+ left. One is shit talking the Captain but he is like totes unfazed.
So this "building" is actually a now defunct police station they are currently taking some refuge in. As one of the officers is strolling around the place, he sees bloody claw marks and also stepped in gooey human remains. Ewwwww.
Breaking the tension with one of the fellow soldiers that was picking a fight with a dude who puked on his previous little boots, a survivor chucks up blood and reaches for them. He is all bloodied up though and his throat is slashed so he can't talk even if he wanted to! He dedz now.
Changing scenery here over to the nazi's, he goes to a tent with dead bodies. He heads over to Hans, whom of the soldiers knifed earlier. Instead of grieving Hans, he says his death brings shame to his name but will find the "American dogs" responsible for his demise.
Back at the police station, they light a few candles and trying to figure out what or where to go from here. Someone reaches from the shadows so the soldier shoots that person. Except, it was a WOMAN he shot! She's writhing in pain and talking in french. They try to find the keys to unlock her. She isn't thrilled once they get inside. They bound her but still curses at them. One of them who is not exactly fluent in French loosely translates and think she is telling them to stay away or she'll kill them.
BAH! They scoff.
As they continue helping the woman, Sgt. Quist who thinks the screaming lady is a liability for signalling to the enemies, he locks the cell with all the soldiers inside. And the motherfucking traitor runs off like a little girl.
The soldiers continue to tend to the girl but see how her wound is oddly healing rapidly. Doc then proceeds to translate more crap she is saying. That she is the one who locked herself in the cage because she kills people and she....doesn't want to do that.
They see the paw marks. Wolf Woman.
When she was reaching for the dude earlier, it was for the silver cross he was wearing rather than his misinterpreation of attack. He yanks it off his neck and gives it to her and she fucking swallows that shit.
Unfortunately nazi dude finds out where exactly where they are at and over an intercom, he gives them 2 options. Surrender or DIE terrible deaths. Well, fuck.
Captain Talby responds to Nazi dude is more like a taunt. Before that, he asks a favor to bite another soldier and literally everyone else. All while the enemy is getting ready to raid them. After the woman bites on everyone she slumps over to her death but gives them grattitude.
It is night time now, full moon, actually, can you believe that?
The enemies storm through the abandoned police building and now that these are now super soldier werewolves, they end up slaughtering all the nazi baddies. Looks cheesy ngl. Alas, they do kick some enemy butt. They have a nice bloodbath and all is right with the world. Except, not yet. One of them has a settle to score.
Remember that traitor from earlier? Well wolfie Talby finally was able to catch up to him. Quist tries to channel his inner Justin Bieber and tunes out 'Is it too late to say sorryyyyy now?"
END
2nd segment of this episode is called The Finger.
A young dude by the name of Clark Wilson who is jolted awake in the middle of the night. During this time, he himself is narrarting. He thinks there's been a break in at his house so he goes on the prowl with a flashlight and gasps.
Oh, but wait! This guy wants to now tell you what lead up to this seemingly penultimate scene so we have to travel back in time to just a few days earlier....
In the city of LA is where he resides and he's just walking around town late a night. Oh yeah and did I mention that this also features this character breaking the fourth wall and actually talks to the camera? A little cringe but ok. He finds weird bones while walking down the sidewalk.
He brings it home. He's a loner. He has trouble in all areas of his life. He is divorced and is estranged from his family. Anyway, he sits at a desk and stills a drink but becomes intrigued when he sees the bone soak up all the liquid.. He put it in a container and places it in the fridge.
He doesn't seem to be a very level headed as he impulsively picks up a telemarketing call and curses them out. He continues to talk to the camera saying they aren't even really people. Uhhhhh?
The next day he finds the finger missing from the container and tries to hunt it down for wherever it went; It's lying in the imddle of the room but now it's grown a new finger. It just kept growing and growing until it was a whole ass arm.
Clark is debating what he should do if he should call a freak museum or something but he ultimately ends up keeping it to his damn self.
The arm breaks out yet again through an open window so now he feels abandoned all over again.
Fast forward back to the intro is when he finally wakes up in the middle of the night and goes prowling his house with the flashlight. We've come full circle, bois. Clark contiues searching as he also hears little footsteps until he comes into the freezer and he's like "What the holy hell?"
He sees a heart resting on a shelf with fresh blood.
He hears a knock at the door whom are detectives who question him about his ex wife about some incident at her house. He puts on a sad face and acts sad. He hates her and hates her kids too (step kids, he's not the bio dad).
After that's all done, he goes back to his computer where a new moving little alien thingy is now moving along the house and he finally gets a good gander at it for the first time. He gets freaked out at first but then comes around to the morbidly adorable little creature.
He takes a picture after coming face to face. He dubs him the name "Bob". His name is BOB. I can't even.
Bob's sleeping quarters is in the freezer, how cute. He also taken to humanly pleasures like trash tv and consuming popcorn. He even acts humanly and can somehow understand what Clark says. OMG this episode is goofy. I don't think I even mean that in a good way either.
Clark then goes taking a stroll and gets miffed at a motorist who miffed him and I guess and Bob took care of him as he took care of the ex wife. So every time this happens, he disposes of the various organs down the sink disposal.
Weird enough, he pieces together that Bob actually went out of his way to kill the telemarketer lady. Wow, what? Just for doing her job? Jeez.
The detectives comes knocking at his door again to request pictures of the ex wife and kids. One of them notices red on his shirt but tries to make food excuses for it. Right when he walks over to the table, he sees the beheaded ex wife and kids. Um Ew?
He takes the heads the tries to mash it down the drain. Not as gross as you think it is really. The heads look so blatantly fake but it doesn't even look like they even tried to make it look realistic. This is now when we hear sirens and now the cat is out of the bag and he gets pinned with all those murders.
Clark is now seen in a white room with a light brown uniform on saying "I know it sounds crazy but that's what happened, man!" Man is going a bit delusional and it's sad how much of a toll it has taken on him. He swears his good ol buddy Bob is coming back for him. If there's a will, there's a way, right?
Aaaand what do ya know? He hears Bob off in the distance. Or is it?
