Freddy's Nightmares S1E1
Episode 1
This episode opens up with a news bulluten of local news station. An anchor is relaying some recent events concerning the city when all of a sudden to his shock and horror, he dematerializes out of thin air. He then materializes in front of the steps of a local court room. Okay, so NOW he is reporting on the ongoing pretrial hearing for accused mass murderer Fred Kruger as he is referred to.
Now we are inside the court room full of lawyers, the judge and everyone else sitting on the benches. It is now that the prosecutor is showing pictures of Fred Kruger's alleged victims, all children, to a grief stricken audience sitting behind him, including a set of teenaged twins where one looks traumatized while the other one looks with utter sympathy.
After the closing remarks from the prosecutor the judge now goes to the defense attorney. At the shock of everyone in the courtroom, he says that in light of new evidence, he motions for a dismissal of the case. WHAAAAAAT?!
Prosecutor and Defense approach the bench as he hands the judge a manilla folder. As it turns out, Mr.Kruger had what was called an illegal arrest because he was not given his Miranda rights upon being cuffed. So yes, due to a technicality the judge approves the dismissal.
Kruger is now free.
Of course there is a huge uproar in the community. He is taken off the cuffs right there in the courtoom and he takes a gander at everyone in the courtroom with a rather disturbing fantasy of his.
He walks on out unscathed while everyone is just losing their shit over this uncalled for move. A grief stricken mother of one of Kruger's alleged victims comes clawing at Officer and he fucked it all up and he's freeee NOOOOOOOOO" all while she's waving her arms all willy nilly like a tube noodle.
The Prosecutor is on the steps shaking his head in disappointment and says this is far from over.
It is revealed that the reason for this illegal arrest is that the Officer rescued his own twin daughters with Fred Kruger all red handed which was why he acted so hastily and unprofessionally. An act he immediately regrets now that he is a free man.
Just outside the courtroom where the people who are the most outrage are congregating, the prosecutor is seen as the head of conversation. He said he dedicated his life to the law and now that it has failed him, it is up to them to take the law into their own hands. Everyone nods in agreement.
Later that night Officer is talking with the wife in which she gives him more shit about the Miranda rights and why he didn't think long term because of their daughters and stuff. He gets miffed so he just fucks off to the police station but promises to have a fellow officer to be a lookout just outside their house in the meantime.
Just before he leaves, though, his not as traumatized daughter, Lisa goes to him that killing Freddy will only make it worse. He scroffs and takes off.
Meanwhile, Fred is at his creepy ass boiler room just riling himself up for his resurgence in which he retrieves his handy dandy trademarked gloves with the blades at the end. Ya know what I'm talking about!
Back at the house, the catatonic twin named Merit is just there on the couch staring at the floor while her sister Lisa is freaking the fuck out convinced that he is just outside their house.
Well, he actually is though.
He managed the sneak up behind the cop watching over them and sliced him poor. Poor fella.
Unbeknownst to him, the vigilante mob arrived at the house expecting to catch Fred in the act and slaughter his ass. He actually makes it obvious he's there because his stupid serial killer truck sticks out like a sore thumb and this dumbass parked right in front of the house!
Because this lynch mob was so hell bent on finding him in and around the house, Fred actually manages to slip away from the scene and drive off! Can you believe that shit?
Officer pulls up to his house and loses his shit at this mob of people and tells them to GTFO. But then he eventually follows the mob to Fred's crib where he ultimately confront him. Right when the prosecutor guy is about to give him a shot gun to the face, the office comes in right in the nick of time and stops him saying he wants to take him down the right now. However, Freddy taunts him about his girls and in a flip of a dime, officer changes his mind and says this corny ass line:
"The law is the law. Today, the law is on vacation."
He pours gasoline on him and flicks a match. As he burns to death, he tells the mob that this is their secret and not to tell another soul about that night.
So with the following days, this officer returns to work but literally gets met with a hand written letter in blood, an ominious letter from Freddy Kruger that he will see him in hell. Then the letter spontaneously combusts to the unknowing conscious of his peers around him. A fellow officer swiftly comes up to him with some seemingly good news (unaware of the events that just occurred not that long ago) that the FBI are going to be coming to town to nail Kruger once and for all. A mortified and dying inside Officer breaks his own promise and spills the beans on why the FBI will never find him. He offers to help and "take care of the body". Thanks, bud.
Now that he is on the road, he has a close call taunt with Freddy. Almost ran into a truck in a game of chicken. Hence, why Freddy taunted "Here chicky, chicky, chicky." Which led him to slam on his breads and chip his front tooth.
He goes with his buddy officer to the unofficial crime scene just to make sure that his body is dedz, they find claw marks in the truck...but no body!! DUN DUN DUN!
Not too long later the body of Mr. Deeks, the prosecutor, is found dead. Sucks, bro. There is also trademark claw marks on his body. The dentist at the scene notices the chipped tooth and offers the officer to stop by his office to get that fixed.
Meanwhile, back at home Merit is still out of it. At the breakfast table, she starts chanting with the same melody as in the films but with the words rather "He told me you killed him, He told me you killed him." Dad is like whooooo and she replies in the same melody "Freddy he's back in my dreams and yours."
Cue dad spazzing the fuck out.
So he arrives at the dentist office but he is in for a rude awakening. Or you could say NEVER awakening.
