Previously on Diablero: Episode 2

Episode 3: The Hidden Children/ Los Hijos Ocultos

The scene opens up with a young Elvis and his sister Keta taking her son, Mayaken, a bath. There was a brief reference to her son's birthmark on the back of the neck (which so happens to be the same mark that was branded on Lucia's dead body) Keta says she will tell the truth when her son gets older to who his dad is. Truth bomb here is when we learn that El Indio is actually the FATHER!!!!! Now we know his connection to Elvis finally!! Elvis remarks that if El Indio refuses to acknowledge Mayaken as his own son then that's his loss. At least he has uncle Elvis, eh? He steps out because to check the fuse box as the power went out while his sister sits Mayaken in a portable bathtub. A window bursts open in which Keta turns her back for a split second to get a towel but when she returns, her son is now missing! She freaks the fuck out (as she should) and Elvis comes stomping back in the bathroom and gawking at the open window as the camera zooms out and the show's intro now comes on.

Back to the current timeline, looks like this takes place immediately after the events from 2nd episode specifically the cage fight due to Nancy still looking a fucked up in the face. Keta (short for Ketamina) is trying to convince her brother that this is a big clue concerning the disappearance of her son but Elvis is hella skeptical and dismisses her claims, despite the birthmark being a match on the previous dead bodies. He believes Mayaken is dead, that's why.

However, him and the gang are heading up the stairs when Elvis is greeted by his frenemily (I just totally made that up) AKA his nieces AKA El Indio's daughters who hate his fucking guts. At first sight they start shooting at him which sends the gang skittering to the wind fleeing these goons.

Flashback to a scene with Lucia tucking in Mariana sweetly and then flashing back to the present with a battered and torn Mariana waking up in a bed in a place unfamiliar to her. The woman who saved her introduces herself as Mama Chabela. She introduces her some other kids there around her age named Lorenzo and Sebas. She says this is a sanctuary where the monsters can't get them The boys had the exact samezies as her from their mothers being taken away and Mama Chebala saved them. Wences shyly steps in, he's an adult male who helps her around the house. I think he's mute.

Father Ramiro's church is where the cats end up regrouping in which after a brief rundown on Keta's troubles since he has no idea WTF her and her brother were bickering about, Elvis skirts off from the group. Meanwhile Father Ramiro tries to take a shot at talking to one of the victims' family. Now that they got the identities of who has the mark, they will start their search from there.

Went as smooth as you think it did.

They did, however, did get information that the victim got impregnated by a man of the lord. Awk. Ward. Father Ramiro swears it isn't him though. I doubt the victim's family believed him.

Elvis then returns to that demon appraisal shop from episode 1 to "borrow" a demon. Borrow huh? Whatever for? Well he goes to where the nieces hideout. Their names are Pauline and Thalia by the way. He knocks on the door and opens the demon bottle and unleashes the demon unto the group. They all cover their faces to prevent possession but it ends up going up a dude's butthole. He ends up stealing Pauline away in order to use as a body shield to confront El Indio again should he want to shoot his brains out next time he sees him. Because he totally wants to.

Turns out he doesn't give a shit when he gets there. However he drops a bomb that he knows Mayaken is alive. Well, fuck.

Keta helps Father Ramiro concoct this temporary truth telling serum that he puts in alcohol to entice a fellow man of the Lord to see if he is knowledgeable of any other people like Lucia. Ya know, that banged other priests and had babies with them? That's how he got the list. Holy shit, it's a long list. And there's a correlation with which mother is being slaughtered and abducting a child that has the same February birthdate. This truthtelling serum scene was funny as fuck and I ain't telling you why because you need to watch it for yourself. Lolz.

Back at Mama Chebala's house, this same demon appeared just outside the window, trying to get in but Mama has some sort of incantation to repels him. So she definitely was not fucking around when she said Mariana is safe there.

Father Ramiro, Nancy and Keta go down the list and come to Margarita's house. While Keta is talking to her, the demon just materializes the fuck over there. Good thing Nancy is there to protect them, eh? Margarita still gets attacked and branded but at least she no die, right? Right?!

Just in the nick of time, ELVIS also reunites with them. Nancy was in the process of kicking butt but Elvis shoots the mothafucka and they both go flying. Everyone freaks the hell out thinking he dedz but of course not. Because plot points. He's just stuck in a tree. That's all.

And cue Seinfeld's theme here.

Oh, and the demon's claw got lodged in him so they now have what they need to summon him. Woop Woop!
